Amelia is an important local artist and arts teacher Córdoba, Veracruz. She is famous for painting local flora, particularly a local flower called "ave del paraíso" (Paradise flower). The concept of this exhibit was to present a different side of her that wasn't known, with works that deviated from her usual practice and brought forth her interests in contemporary art.
