Stolen horizon
Digital photography

These pictures are a negation of one of the most common features on land photography, the horizon. By covering the horizon line on site with stretches of fabric, the usual break of land and sky impedes the usual reading of a landscape, intensifying the plastic aspects of the picture, and the resulting photography becomes more fields of color and less an exhibit of geographical features thanks to the square borders of the frame and the isometric translation of light into a 2d medium.
